A combined meeting on routine and urban immunization is held in Dimapur

The Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Dimapur hosted a joint meeting of the District Task Force for Routine Immunization and Urban Immunization. The district’s cold chain point management was described at the conference by Rajesh Monsang, RPO for the UNDP. eVIN (Electronic Vaccine Intelligence Network) is a digital system that keeps track of vaccine storage, stock levels, and expiration dates. In order to track vaccination data and beneficiaries and integrate with eVIN for effective vaccine management, he also unveiled U-WIN, a digital platform. The U-WIN portal is used by 298 session sites, 13 private health clinics, and 72 public health facilities in Dimapur.

To find eligible people and develop a well-thought-out immunization strategy, the district is now conducting an Annual Head Count Survey for Routine Immunization. Zakabo V. Rotokha, ADC Dimapur, commended eVaccination Certificates and U-WIN as useful and efficient methods for monitoring vaccines and recipients. Lions Club Dimapur representatives, CDPO (U) Limasangla, Dr. Kavito Zhimomi (DPO-CD-I), and CMO Dimapur employees were among the other officials in attendance. Dr. Rongsennungla (DPO RCH-UIP) convened the program and provided the district’s immunization status. CMO Dimapur, Dr. Temsu Lkr, gave a vote of gratitude to end the ceremony.
