IPL 2024, Shah Rukh Khan’s team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) took the trophy home on Sunday. The match was against Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH) owner Kavya Maran who lost by eight wickets against KKR.
A video from the Chennai cricket stadium from the match is going viral on social media where Kavya was seeing giving standing ovation on KKR winning and then turning back against the camera as she teared up, wiping her eyes.
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan congratulated Shah Rukh Khan on the win through a post and also expressed his disappointment on Kavya’s team lost.
The post said, “The IPL Final is over and KKR have WON a most convincing victory .. SRH were simply outplayed .. disappointing in many ways because SRH is a good team and one has seen their very grand performances over the days when they played other matches.”
Further it said, “But what was most touching to observe was the pretty young lady , .. the owner of SRH, in the Stadium, get emotional after the loss and break into tears, turning her face away from the cameras, so as not to display her emotion .. I felt bad for her !! Never mind .. tomorrow is another day .. my dear !!”
