At Zakiesato HSS, Friends on Wheels installs water filter

At Zakiesato Memorial Higher Secondary School in Dimapur, the Friends on Wheels Motorcycle Club, a non-profit group of bike enthusiasts from Nagaland, installed a new water filter and cooler system to ensure that students have access to safe, clean, and cold drinking water. As part of the club’s broader efforts to promote student welfare, the event, which had as its subject ‘A Step toward Clean, Safe & Chilled Drinking Water.’

Abhijeet Bharadwaj, the club president, said the project shows the group’s commitment to improving educational facilities. Additionally, he highlighted the club’s recent accomplishment of assisting 43 underprivileged children in enrolling in school this year. Sajal Kanti Nath, the school’s principal, gave a thank-you speech during the occasion, and Bharadwaj spoke. Presided over by Animesh Sutradhar, it included an invocation by coordinator Joyson Shimray, a concluding prayer by Romio, and a vote of gratitude by administrator B.P. Sharma.
