It is known that the plane started to rise and fall loudly in mid-air at the border of Thailand. The plane descended 178 feet in just 4.6 seconds. The passengers were terrified by the strong tremors. On the other hand, passengers also claim that this accident happened because the seat belt was not on.

According to the sources of the airline, there were 211 passengers on that plane. Apart from the British, the rest are citizens of Australia and Singapore. Apart from Singapore Airlines, the British government also announced special compensation for the victims.
