Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, a leader in waste management, in collaboration with the Nagaland Pollution Control Board, hosted the E-Waste Management Summit 2024 in Kohima. The summit aimed to address critical issues and strategies for e-waste management and recycling in Northeast India, attracting government officials, corporate leaders, and environmental advocates.
Distinguished guests, including Smt. Aghali A Swu and Shri. Kevisede Pucho from the Pollution Control Board, along with Mr. Nandan Mall, Founder and Managing Director of Hulladek, emphasized the importance of sustainable waste management practices. “This summit marks a significant step towards effective e-waste management in the region,” stated Smt. The event discussed the current state of e-waste management, implementation strategies for new regulations, and Hulladek’s initiatives to expand into other waste categories. Notably, Hulladek aims to position itself as the premier e-waste solution provider in Northeast India.The summit highlights the necessity of awareness campaigns in Kohima, including the installation of no-parking boards to promote responsible waste disposal. This initiative aims to educate the community about the importance of proper e-waste recycling, paving the way for a greener Kohima.
