Justdial, India’s leading local search engine, has partnered with the Government of Nagaland’s Directorate of Industries and Commerce to digitize businesses registered with the department. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aims to improve the web presence of enterprises registered with the department, while Justdial will play a critical role in digitizing operations. The three-year partnership demonstrates a long-term commitment to business growth in Nagaland, with the two parties working together to support the department’s objectives and contribute to the state’s overall economic development.
The Directorate of Industries and Commerce is responsible for providing policy guidance for industrial development, formulating viable projects, providing training to entrepreneurs, and offering financial incentives to promote small-scale, tiny, and cottage industries. The partnership aims to enhance economic development by harnessing information, technology, and strategic alliances, facilitating greater access to resources, enhanced visibility, and fostering a supportive ecosystem.
