Medanta – The Medicity has been ranked India’s No. 1 hospital in Newsweek’s ‘World’s Best Hospitals 2026’ rankings, conducted in collaboration with Statista Inc.. The recognition marks the seventh consecutive year the institution has featured among the world’s leading hospitals, underscoring sustained leadership and strategic execution.
The 2026 rankings assessed over 2,500 hospitals across 32 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Australia, Canada and Singapore. The evaluation combined medical expert recommendations, patient experience data, hospital quality metrics and a Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) Implementation Survey, reflecting globally aligned governance and outcome standards.
Operated by Global Health Limited, Medanta’s performance highlights management-led investments in artificial intelligence, robotics and automation, strengthening operational efficiency and patient-centric care delivery.
