Ahead of Lok Sabha polling third phase in Assam constituencies Assam Government has announced May 7 as public holiday on parts of the state.
To notice said, all the Government/non-Government Offices, PRIs, urban local bodies, educational institutions, business and banks, tea gardens and industries, etc will remain close on May 7.
Also the holiday is declared for Guwahati, Kokrajhar (ST), Dhubri and Barpeta only.
