Rare accident on Singapore-bound flight kills one passenger, injures 30

Heavy shaking in the air during the flight! A passenger on a flight from London to Singapore died due to ‘air turbulence’. It is reported that 30 more passengers were injured in this incident. The Singapore Airlines authorities have confirmed that the passenger died on the plane. The airline said that the plane made an emergency landing in Bangkok.

According to media reports, the SQ321 Boeing aircraft of Singapore Airlines departed from Heathrow Airport in London and headed for Singapore. The plane was carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew members. According to the airline, the plane fell into ‘turbulence’ in mid-air. Passengers on the plane were injured due to strong shaking. Those whose seatbelts were not fastened were thrown to the other side. One passenger died in this incident. The number of injured is 30. Under these circumstances, the plane landed at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport around 4:30 on Tuesday. The injured have already been treated.

Expressing condolences to the family of the deceased passenger, Singapore Airlines has said, “One person has died on a Boeing aircraft. Many were injured. All assistance will be provided to all passengers and crew members on board the aircraft. Local authorities in Thailand are being contacted to treat the injured. A team is being sent to Bangkok to provide any additional assistance.” However, the airline did not say why the flight hit the ‘turbulence’.
