Shatran Rohit, the Indian captain reached three figures after a year in Tests

Finally the century came from the bat of Rohit Sharma. He last scored a century in red ball cricket in January last year. Since then he could not score big runs. A year later, Rohit scored a hundred in Tests. He scored a century after the tea break on the first day of the third Test against England in Rajkot.

After coming down to bat, Rohit saw wickets fall one after another at the other end. Yasswi Jaiswal was out first, followed by Shubman Gill and finally Rajat Patidar. India fell under pressure after losing 3 wickets for 33 runs. Rohit pulled the team out of a difficult situation. He was accompanied by Ravindra Jadeja.
