Suryakumar underwent surgery in Germany in January this year. At that time he was injured in the groin. The surgery was done there. Later he injured his ankle. Now there is surgery. Suryakumar posted a picture of himself sitting in a wheelchair and said, “Thank you to everyone who was concerned about my health, who prayed. I am fine. Will be back on the field very soon.”
Surya is one of the most important members of the Indian T20 team. He also played for India in the One Day World Cup. Suryakumar has led the country in T20 cricket even though he could not attract attention in that way in test or one day cricket.
