The 150-bed critical care block at RIMS is essentially inaugurated by PM

Nagaland:The 150-bed Critical Care Block of the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, is being built virtually, and the foundation stone was laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.
The building will be constructed under the Prime Minister’s Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission, and the virtual foundation stone was placed in Rajkot, Gujarat’s Race Course Ground.

Furthermore, a ceremonial program with Manipur principal Minister N Biren Singh as the principal guest was organized at the RIMS jubilee hall in conjunction with the foundation stone laying event.
Among those in attendance were RIMS officials, several MLAs, MP Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze, state health services officials, and union minister of state for education and external affairs Dr. RK Ranjan.

The chief minister spoke at the event and congratulated the RIMS family on their new endeavor.
He asserted that the Critical Care Block was essential to provide the public with improved healthcare services and that people ought to be ready for emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
He recalls how difficult it was for the state to satisfy its oxygen demand during the COVID-19 epidemic.
According to him, the government had established oxygen plants working day and night. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, however, oversaw the installation of oxygen plants in every district headquarters, the expansion of the ICU beds at JNIMS, and several other health-related initiatives.

Singh also expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister for his commitment, foresight, and adoption of precautionary and preventative steps in the health sector.
Under his direction, he said, improvements and developments could be observed in every area of the state and northeast India.
He voiced optimism that peace and normality will soon return in regards to the state’s present law and order crisis.
In order to arrive at a cooperative solution, he said, discussions and meetings were being held at all levels.
In his remarks, Union Minister of State Dr. RK Ranjan claimed that Manipur has seen a significant revolution in the health sector, thanks to the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He discussed the steps the Prime Minister had made to provide oxygen during the COVID-19 epidemic.The RIMS infrastructure has advanced significantly over time, according to MP Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze. Regardless of the communities it served, it was a top state institution.
He discussed the steps taken by the Union Health Minister and the Prime Minister to advance the health sector.
The Union Health Ministry should enhance RIMS to an AIIMS-like facility, the MP further recommended.
