The fourth edition of the photography exhibition is held at Patkai Christian College

The fourth annual photography exhibition was held by the first and second-year students of the public communication department at Patkai Christian College (Autonomous). The show, which has as its theme “Framing Elements and Beyond,” was formally opened by Neilevono Vupru, dean of social sciences at PCC (A). Faculty members, students, and guests from outside the college attended the ceremony, which began at 10 AM at the National Service Scheme Park in Patkai.

In her introductory remarks, Vupru commended the students’ inventiveness and emphasized that valuing art and encouraging such activities represents a step toward the advancement of humanity’s higher aspirations. She urged students to carry on with their artistic endeavors and support similar programs in the future. The exhibition showcased the skills of first- and second-year mass communication students with 48 beautiful images. In keeping with the concept, guests were given the chance to interact with the photographers, who gave them tour guides and shared the backstories of their images.

With assistance from Patio Coffee Eatery, Spicy Corner, Nikamel, TreatMor, Fingerprint, November Sky, Dermato Aesthetic, and the department’s alumna, Khakhuli Chishi, the students worked with the photography club Dimapur to make the show a reality. It is noteworthy that clients and visitors bought all 48 of the images on display at the event, demonstrating the demand and admiration for the students’ work. Every year, the exhibition serves as a vital component of the mass communication department’s skill-development course, giving students a chance to display their abilities and obtain priceless practical experience.
