Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the inclusion of six airbags as a standard feature across all variants of its Glanza hatchback. The move reflects the industry’s broader alignment with the government’s push for safer mobility and global safety benchmarks.
Alongside this safety upgrade, TKM has launched a new limited-period ‘Prestige Package’, available until July 31, 2025. The accessory bundle includes premium door visors, chrome-accented mouldings, illuminated door sills, and a rear skid plate—enhancing the Glanza’s visual appeal and functional convenience without significantly affecting its price point.
Equipped with a 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine delivering up to 22.94 km/l (AMT) and 30.61 km/kg (CNG), the Glanza also features advanced infotainment, HUD, 360-degree camera, and Toyota i-Connect with 45+ connected features—making it a tech-forward offering in its category.
The enhanced safety features and new accessory package are expected to attract upwardly mobile consumers in the hill state. Prices for the updated Glanza start at ₹6.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
