Union Minister Calls on CM Rio, Takes Stock of Central Projects in Nagaland

On Sunday, Minister of State for Coal and Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey, met with Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio to discuss developmental issues in the state. Rio expressed his appreciation for Dubey’s visit, hoping it would lead to positive results. Dubey characterized the meeting as courteous and substantive, covering various developmental aspects of Nagaland. Earlier, he reviewed central scheme implementations in Kohima district, visiting Rusoma village to evaluate projects including a village council hall, circular road, health facilities, schools, the Jal Jeevan Mission, a health and wellness center, and an orange orchard. During a program at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall in Kohima, attended by district officials, tribal leaders, and civil society representatives, Dubey emphasized the purpose of his visit as assessing the real-world impact of these schemes and the effective use of public funds.
