VinFast India officially marked its entry into the Indian market at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 by unveiling its electric SUVs, the VF6 and VF7. While the company had kept the launch timeline under wraps at the time, it has now confirmed that the models will debut on September 6. Bookings for both vehicles began on July 15, though delivery dates are still awaited.
The VinFast VF7 will be available in three variants—Earth, Wind, and Sky—and offered in six colour options: Jet Black, Desat Silver, Infinity Blanc, Crimson Red, Zenith Grey, and Urban Mint. Its front fascia features full-width LED DRLs converging into a ‘V’ shape, highlighting the brand’s logo. The SUV comes with a 70.8 kWh battery and offers both 2WD and AWD versions. The 2WD model generates 204 hp, while the AWD variant delivers a combined 350 hp and 500 Nm of torque. The WLTP-certified range is 450 km for 2WD and 431 km for AWD.
The VF6, meanwhile, sports eyebrow-style LED DRLs, a honeycomb grille, black cladding, and a sloping roofline, giving it a modern, streamlined look.
