New Delhi, June 18: Zinc prices rose by Rs 1.10 to Rs 253.60 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday on strong spot demand.
The price of zinc contract for July delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 1.10 or 0.44 per cent to Rs 253.60 per kg in a business turnover of 1,790 lots.
Zinc prices rose in futures trade as participants increased their deal sizes following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries, market sources said.
